1st DOLE 9 Management Committee Meeting

The Management Committee Meeting is attended by DOLE RO, Field Offices, Intermediaries and Attached Agencies (RTWPB, NCRO, ECC and OSHC) with the agenda of 2016 Work Plan.

The objective of the said meeting is to be able to share what has been done, what needs to be done and to further assist one another on how these targets can be achieved.

For OSHC, this serves as a way of linking with the field offices and other attached agencies to emphasize on our programs and services.

DOLE Field Offices have pledged their assistance for the OSH Orientation for Kasambahay and Informal Sector. They will be coordinating with OSHC REU 9 for their schedule of activities for the said targets.

RD Cano also emphasized on the implementation of RULE 1070 (Work Environment Measurement) of the Occupational Safety and Health Standards as it was presented by OSHC REU 9 Focal Ms. Ma. Joy Reneeli C. Espinosa, that compliance rate of Region 9 is low with regards to WEM based on the data from OSHC ECD, that the last WEM request was in 2012.

RD Cano requested that there be a meeting with LLCOs where OSHC REU 9 will lecture on Rule 1070 of the OSHS and the WEM Services of OSHC.
