GKK Initial Workplace Validation at Permex Producer and Exporter Corporation

The Regional GKK Secretariat composed of Ms. Espinosa, OSHC; Mr. Go, ECC; and Ms. Joaquin, DOLE LLCO, conducted an initial workplace evaluation at Permex on 2 February 2016. The on-site validation activities include presentation of company OSH programs, open forum/ discussion with validators and concerned company personnel, walkthrough of the company premises and validation with the community.

It has been found that despite the adequate number of DOLE-Accredited Safety practitioners, there are still a high number of accidents resulting to injury. Although Safety and Health policy is in place, implementation must be strictly monitored to include filing of EC Claims.
