GKK Initial Workplace Evaluation at AP Renewables Inc.

The Regional GKK Secretariat composed of Mr. Agno, OSHC; Mr. Jeruz Castillo, ECC; Mr. Albert Gesulgon, DOLE conducted an initial workplace evaluation at AP Renewables Inc. Bitin, Bay, Laguna on 4 February 2016. The onsite validation activities include presentation of company profile and OSH programs, entrance and exit conference and also a walkthrough of the company premises.

AP Renewables Inc. has adequate number of DOLE accredited safety officers as prescribed in D.O no. 16 who implement injury and ill health prevention programs. One of the highlights of their safety program is the I-suggest program which allows every worker to suggest or recommend to the management for improvement in terms of safety and health and other concerns privately.
