OSH Orientation for the ECC In-house Activity

The ECC Regional Extension Unit 2 organized an In House Seminar for the employees and management of the establishments at LGU Function Hall, LGU Ballesteros, Cagayan on March 30, 2016.

Topics discussed are Workers Rights, Employees’ Compensation Program and Occupational Safety and Health. It was presented by Ms. Edna Guzman – Sr. LEO, Ms. Remedios Andrada, and Engr. Karen Matusalem respectively.

The OSH Orientation presented the data on work related accidents and diseases, its causes and control measures on preventing it. The role of management and the employees is very important on the successful implementation of OSH in the workplace. They should give their best effort to achieve fully implement OSH programs in their workplaces. A safe and healthy workplace makes a good and happy working environment, hence more productivity, no losses.
