GKK Initial Workplace Evaluation at NYK-FIL E-Training Center

The Regional GKK Secretariat composed of Mr. Agno, OSHC; Mr. Jeruz Castillo, ECC; Engr. Albert Gesulgon, DOLE conducted an initial workplace evaluation at NYK-TDG Maritime Academy Knowledge Avenue, Carmeltown, Canlubang, Calamba City, Laguna on 4 April 2016. The onsite validation activities include presentation of company profile and OSH programs, entrance and exit conference and also a walkthrough of the company premises.

OSH findings are listed below:

1. No clear safety and health policy as well as safety and health programs

2. Permit to operates and inspection certificates of the equipment is expired
