Conducted Special Assessment or Visit of Establishment (SAVE) at NOVO Store, Gingoog City

Another Inspection conducted on April 8, 2016 at Gingoog City. As per inquiries, 22 workers were hired, 4 of which were stay in. Room for stay-in not large enough, ventilation like the office and working place is poor. Fire exits available but obstructed and No Fire Exits Signages. As we went around, we found a portion of the flooring defective and needs to be repaired. An emergency light was seen but probably not functional due to rusting condition.

In general the area is evident for poor housekeeping. Fire Hose Cabinet and Stairways is also filled with goodies. The gate for workers used is closed all the time. Workers have no access to its Key. This is dangerous for the workers in case of an emergency.
