Labor Day Celebration – Fun Run

The Cagayan Valley Occupational Safety and Health Network, in cooperation with DOLE RO2 and OSHC REU 2, spearheaded the conduct of Fun Run Activity during the celebration of the Labor Day at the Cagayan Sports Complex, Tuguegarao City.

The text “Takbo Kontra Stress” is in line with the theme of the World Day for Safety and Health WORKPLACE STRESS: A COLLECTIVE CHALLENGE which aims to release stresses from work.

The activity was opened with a Zumba dance exercise to warm up the runners. The 5KM run was participated by more than 700 employees from government and private establishments.

There are awards given during the activity like; 3 Fastest Runner, Oldest Runner, Youngest Runner, Early Bird, Most number of participants from an agency and Best Zumba dancer.

Ms. Lilian Cacayurin, CVOSHNet President in her closing remarks said, “Strive for a stress-free working environment to maintain the safety and health of every Filipino workers.”
