10th Gawad Kaligtasan at Kalusugan Regional Awarding

The awarding ceremony took place at Badjao 3, Garden Orchid Hotel and Convention Center, Zamboanga City last June 10, 2016 where distinguished guests, key officials and partner industries were witness to the prestigious event.

Petron Corporation – Zamboanga Depot and Engr. Glemel A. Baliling were named the Regional GKK Champions in Region 9 for the Industry Category and Individual Category respectively.

The program started with a Doxology performed by Jambangan Dance Troupe followed by the singing of the National Anthem and Zamboanga Hermosa Hymn.

Present during the ceremony, representing OSHC Executive Director Ma. Teresita S. Cucueco, was Engr. Concepcion Sto. Tomas, OSHC Safety Control Division Chief and DOLE 9 Regional Director Sisinio B. Cano.

A message from Executive Director Ma. Teresita S. Cucueco was delivered by Engr. Concepcion Sto. Tomas during the ceremony.

Also present was Zamboanga City Councilor Kim Elago, who graced the event on behalf of Zamboanga City Mayor Maria Isabelle G. Climaco-Salazar who was not able to join the ceremony to attend an equally important engagement.
