OSH Orientation – LMC Convergence of Programs

The Isabela Electric Cooperative II with the NCMB 2 scheduled an orientation of the different LMC programs to the management and staff of the cooperative on June 17, 2016 at ISELCO II, Ilagan, Isabela.

The topics discussed are the following: 1. Employees Compensation Program 2. Occupational Safety and Health Program 3. Family Welfare Program 4. Productivity Program 5. Grievance Machinery 6. Labor Management Convergence

Since all the participants have already taken the basic OSH training, Engr. Karen B. Matusalem asked the group for any OSH concern. Mr. Henry Pavon, the full time safety officer of the coop asked what they can do to their employees who are not following safety instructions in their jobsites. Mr. Olisen Dizon from NCMB addresses the query. He said that through the LMC, they can settle the matters with the strict implementation of the admin. Engr. Matusalem added that they have to orient their employees, for them to fully understand the objective of the OSH program which protect them from workplace hazards and risk.
