Basic Occupational Safety and Health Training

In coordination with Corporate Occupational Safety, Health & Environment Association of the Philippines, Inc. (COSHEMAP, Inc.), DOLE-Accredited Safety Training Organization and DOLE Zamboanga del Sur Field Office, BOSH Training is conducted in Pagadian City.

One of the core programs and services of OSHC is advocacy through learning sessions and trainings as mandated to prevent workplace accidents and occupational illnesses.

Basic Occupational Safety & Health Training is required under Rule 1030 of the Occupational Safety and Health Standards. It is open to all but the priority is client is the potential safety officer. Safety officers play key roles in the implementation of effective OSH programs at the work places and they are the primary targets of this 40-hours (5 Days) training.

During the 5 days training, OSHC REU 9 monitored the flow of activities ensuring smooth facilitation of the participants. OSHC REU 9 Focal also lectured on Industrial Hygiene and Occupational Health.
