Training on Work Relatedness of Diseases


In coordination with the Health Control Division of OSHC Main Office in Quezon City, the two-day training was conducted in Zamboanga City.


The seminar aims to explain the concepts of occupational and workrelated diseases; to discuss the factors to be considered in establishing the work-relatedness of diseases; and to describe the current practices and policies in compensating diseases and injuries. The course will enhance the skills of participants in evaluating and establishing work relatedness of injuries and diseases as part of their company’s Occupational Health Program.


Around 50 participants attended the said training representing various industries in the region, to include academe and public offices / local government unit.
