OSH Awareness in the Pyrotechnic and Firecracker Industry

Melveen Melocoton, OSHC-REU6 representative, conducted an orientation on occupational health during the scheduled 1-Day Safety Awareness Course in the Pyrotechnic Industry in various provinces of Western Visayas.

Wherein, the number of attendees were the following:

• Iloilo City – 328

• Guimaras – 47

• Antique – 65

The various activities were conducted in collaboration with the DOLE-RO6 to assure the awareness and compliance of firecracker establishments and vendors in general labor standards and occupational safety and health standards.
