Safety Inspection/Building Assessment

Engr. Jaguit of OSHC REU Caraga, in collaboration with Caraga OSHnet Engr. Kalinawan and Engr. Grana conducted Safety Inspection/Building Assessment last February 17-22, 2017 to ten (10) affected establishments in Surigao City hit by the 6.7 magnitude earthquake last February 10, 2017.

The team proceeded to the site as per DOLE Caraga Memo dated February 16, 2017. Most of the building inspected have cracks on their concrete members such as columns and beams and recommended for major rehabilitation and retrofitting.
