Accident Investigation-Dolefil, Polomolok, South Cotabato

OSHC REU XII represented by Engr. Perolen Gagula-Flores together with DOLE LLCO conducted an accident investigation regarding a work related accident happened to the employee of one of the contractors of Dolefil-Brunel Technical Services.

Accident happened last May 04, 2017 when Mr. Pedro Balutan conducted system cleaning and clogging in juice press area. He used air pressure to melt down crystallized chemical clogged at system cleaner but suddenly the junction hose detached when he switched on the valve (hose pointed in his eyes) and caused the chemicals burned his eyes.

After accident investigation, recommendations were made and presented to the supervisor of Brunel Technical Services.
