OSH Orientation during LMC Convergence of Programs Enhancement Seminar
The LMC Convergence of Programs strengthens the integrated delivery of DOLE programs and service such as on productivity, occupational safety and health (OSH), family welfare and grievance.
Mr. Andayog introduced the key OSH concepts, principles and practices that are foundational knowledge requirements to determine existing and potential safety and health hazards as well as its control measures. The pertinent provisions of Philippine laws that refer to occupational safety and health were also emphasized. Presenation used a range of methodologies (participative lectures; video materials) in the training delivery.
The DOLE programs that were introduced and discussed by several speakers shall aid the participants to device an action plan in order to address decent work deficits, foster harmonious labor-management relationships and industrial peace, and increase productivity and competitiveness of enterprises in Camarines Norte.
