One Day Appreciation Course on OSH

OSHC REU 5 conducted a Oneday Appreciation Course on OSH to 45 workers at Legazpi City Water District. LCWD aims to develop the knowledge, skills, and abilities of workers that are necessary to work in a safe and healthy manner. The course provided safety information on machine and excavation, materials handling and storage as well as PPE.

Mr. Andayog introduced the four main groups of occupational hazards and discussed the health and safety risks associated with these hazards. The session constructively involved the participants in the identification and analysis of workplace hazards. At the end of the activity, participants write their recommendations on eliminating or reducing any unacceptable risks in the workplace through a workshop.
