Occupational Safety and Health Seminar

The Department of Labor and Employment Regional Office No. 5 conducted an OSH Seminar at CASURECO II to help them design their own OSH programs specific to the unique conditions and situations of the cooperative. Topics discussed include electrical & fire safety, materials handling, housekeeping and toolbox meeting.

Mr. Andayog discussed the Occupational Health which gave the participants basic knowledge on the health effects of the different hazards encountered in the workplace and the means to prevent such occurrences. An effective safety program needs the cooperative involvement of all employees.
