COSH for DPWH


The Bicol Occupational Safety and Health Network, Inc. (Bicol OSHNet), in coordination with the Department of Labor and Employment, Regional Office 5 and the Occupational Safety and Health Center, conducted a 40-Hour Construction Occupational Safety and Health Training Course on April 17-2, 2017 at Kanzo Hall and Restaurant, Legazpi City.


A total of 43 participants (34 males, 9 females) composed of engineers from DPWH. Mr. Andayog monitored the conduct of training in terms of facility arrangements, training delivery and conduct of resource speakers, facilitator/s and secretariat support. The objectives of the training program were attained and have been presented in an orderly progression. Mr. Andayog discussed the Importance of Safety and Health to orient the participants on the current OSH situation both at the local and international levels and the magnitude of the problems and issues associated with OSH conditions.
